Summer Resident Camp, Session 9
July 27-30, 2003

The Yurt village was our home during camp	Our scouts line up for the flag ceremony	"Shooter" leads the way to the amphitheater	Our Scouts got up on stage and led one of the songs
Our scouts and leaders enjoy the first night's show	Our scouts performed the flag raising on the second day	The food is pretty good in the Adventure Camp's beautiful dining hall	Scouts learn tricks of science at the 'Merlin's Magic' station
Our scouts load sand into their bottles to make a timer at the Nature Lodge	A newly refurbished nature trail has identification labels for the trees	At the Castle Akela Aquatics area we learned proper lifesaving techniques	The pool is a great place to be on a hot summer day
Our Webelos Scouts got to practice their snorkeling skills	Dan Doody hangs out with the guys at the cool sprayground	Next stop for our scouts was the Crafts Lodge	Our scouts got to make pictures by nailing holes into a piece of tin
Our scouts strut their stuff on stage at the Showman station	Back at the Nature Lodge, the scouts try to identify different animal tracks	Everyone lines up for archery at the Jamestown Fort	Check out that bullseye!
Baseball was just one of four activities available at the Sports station	During the tug-of-war our scouts pulled this way ...	... and that way	The Scoutcraft station taught us all about knots and how to put up tents

Since this would be their last Cub Scout summer resident camp experience, 'King' Terry Coffman brought up all of the second-year Webelos and "knighted" them during a special ceremony on our last night at camp.
